APFL Continues Strong Performance in International Rankings
This week, one of the leading international legal rankings published its annual list of the top law firms and legal practitioners in Vietnam. The IFLR 1000 ranks almost 5,000 law firms and over 21,000 practitioners across 12 fields and 250 jurisdictions, helping companies around the world to find external legal counsel.
The 2024 ranking in Vietnam saw APFL Partners perform well across all five practice areas. Our strongest showing was in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), where we were ranked ‘Tier 2’ (out of five in total). Meanwhile, our firm was awarded ‘Tier 3’ in Capital Markets: Equity, Capital Markets: Debt, and Projects; and ‘Tier 4’ in Banking and Finance.
The APFL team was also recognized in the individual rankings. Founder and Managing Partner Nicolas Audier and Partners Etienne Laumonier and Nicolas Picard were all ranked ‘Highly Regarded’ in M&A, while next-generation Partner Antoine Logeay is considered a ‘Rising Star’ in Projects and M&A. APFL Partners is also well represented in the next generation of leading lawyers, with Senior Associate Giang Huynh Huong recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ in Capital Markets and Banking and Finance in Vietnam.
The IFLR 1000 comes after the publication of the 2024 Asia Law rankings last week, in which APFL Partners was once again recognized as one of the leading law firms in Vietnam.
