APFL Partners Recognised in 2024 Asia Law Rankings

APFL Partners has been recognised in the latest Asia Law rankings, securing positive ratings in both practice areas and individual accolades. The annual appraisal of law firms and legal practitioners, published this week, covers 20 jurisdictions with individual league tables for six industrial sectors and eight practice areas.

APFL Partners has seen strong performance in both practice areas and industrial sectors in Vietnam. Our firm is ‘highly recommended’ – the second-highest accolade – in three fields: Construction, Dispute Resolution, and Corporate and M&A.

Meanwhile, we have been ‘recommended’ – the bronze tier – in three fields: Banking and Financial Services, Capital Markets, and Energy. The APFL Partners team are also recognised as ‘notable’ practitioners in Consumer Goods and Services, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, and Labour and Employment.

In terms of individual accolades, the APFL team secured significant acclaim. Our Founder and Managing Partner, Nicolas Audier, has been recognized as an ‘Elite Practitioner’ for his work in Corporate and M&A and Consumer Goods and Services. The Asia Law guide defines ‘Elite Practitioners’ as those who:

“…exhibit unmatched leadership as visionaries within their domains. Boasting an impeccable record of groundbreaking work, they continue to set the standard for excellence domestically and abroad. Peers uniformly acknowledge their preeminence, citing consistently transcendent results that cement their reputations as the undisputed champions of their specialty or nation.”

Meanwhile, Partner Etienne Laumonier has been recognized as a ‘Distinguished Practitioner’ in the fields of Corporate and M&A, Banking and Financial Services, and Consumer Goods. Partner Nicolas Picard and Senior Legal Counsel Bernadette Fahy received the same accolade in their respective fields of Corporate and M&A and Dispute Resolution. Asia Law describes a ‘Distinguished Practitioner’ as someone who has:

“…earned widespread respect among peers for their proven expertise and consistent track record of success. With a well-established reputation reinforced by glowing client testimonials, they guide organizations and shape outcomes through strategic leadership of high-profile deals and disputes that cement their place among the foremost authorities in the field.”

The 2024 Asia Law rankings are based on three criteria: (i) firm submissions and press releases; (ii) client feedback, and; (iii) peer recommendations.

The 2024 rankings continue our strong track record of success in international legal ratings, following the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific and the Chambers & Partners guides.
